1926 International Truck
International Harvester began early on assigning their trucks a model code consisting of a letter and a number. The letter was the model and the number was a size code. Note the extensive use of Wood in the coach works. By 1936 International was producing what we would now call a pickup which had an all steel exterior, but still had wood framing inside the coach works. By 1938 as shown on the D model on this site the body was all steel.
